Patios
The work Glenn enjoys most: porcelain, Indian stone and natural stone, with steps and walls where the garden slopes.
Glenn has worked in paving and landscaping for nearly 15 years, and set up Paving Leeds about eight years ago. From a base in Crossgates, he and his team have laid more than 200 patios, driveways and gardens across Leeds.
Paving Leeds is Glenn’s business. He started in the trade nearly 15 years ago and went out on his own about eight years ago, and in that time has completed more than 200 jobs across the city. When you ask for a quote, it’s Glenn you’ll speak to, and he leads the team that does the work.
Patios are the work he enjoys most, from a simple paved area outside the back door to multi-level designs with steps and walls. Driveways, fencing, garden walls and decking make up much of the rest, and plenty of jobs are a mix of all of them.
Customers who leave reviews tend to mention the same few things: clear prices, a team that keeps the site tidy, and a willingness to adjust the plan as the job takes shape.
“Great communication with Glen when organising the quote (including being very clear on cost)”
Paige Street, Google review

Timber and composite fencing. Fencing-only jobs are welcome, and sound concrete posts can often be reused.

Retaining walls, raised beds and garden walls in brick, block, stone and sleepers.

Whole-garden projects that bring paving, planting, water features and lawns together.

Resin driveways. We don’t lay them. There are too many questions over how well they last, so we would rather recommend block paving, Indian stone or gravel.
Dropped kerbs. In Leeds the kerb and pavement crossing itself has to be built by a contractor the council has approved for street works. We build the driveway behind it and explain the council process on our dropped kerb guide.
Prices. Typical patio and driveway figures are on our paving costs page. Everything else is priced once we have seen the job.
From Crossgates we cover the whole of Leeds and the surrounding parts of West Yorkshire, including:
